About God's Storehouse

God’s Storehouse is a church that operates a thrift store and was first opened in 2009 by Rick & Pennie Kloos. The heart of our ministry is illustrated through our slogan: “Generosity at its best!” We strive to exemplify this in our interactions between our employees, agencies we work with, and the community in which we operate. Our vision is to love God and love people; by doing so we hope to make a lasting impact in the community in which we serve.

As a ministry, we help people in our community who have gone through difficult times, by giving items such as clothing, furniture, and household goods. In addition, we resell the donated items at a reduced cost, recycling them back into our community. God’s Storehouse partners with different churches, agencies, and other non-profit organizations to help empower individuals in achieving a new start.

Donate Donate your gently used items with us. We accept clothing, household goods, furniture, appliances and recreational vehicles. All donations are tax deductible.

Give Back Through your generosity we are able to give back to the community by working with different churches, organizations, and missions abroad.

Channel After receiving donated goods we are then able to channel those items to families in the community. Offering our customers a clean and organized shopping experience.

DONATIONS

On-site Donation

We receive donations at our store location 2111 SW Chelsea Dr Topeka, KS 66614. Our receiving hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 7:00pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Closing hours are subject to change due to influx of donations during the summer season. Please call to ensure we are able to receive donations if you plan to donate around closing hours.

We accept items that are in good usable condition. All donations are subject to an assessment. We offer curbside unloading for your convenience, and tax receipts are available upon request. For larger amounts of donations please consider calling us ahead of time, so that we can prepare for your arrival.

Pickup Service (large goods)

For your convenience we offer a free large item pick up service. Large items such as furniture and appliances. For more information or to schedule a pick up please call 785-608-6743.

We are not obligated to take any items that we deem unfit.

Tube TV's, printers, and tube monitor screens
Torn, ripped, or stained furniture pieces
Appliances that need repair
Car seats and drop gate baby cribs
